BLUE & WHITE COVERED JAR

The Palace Covered Jar has a solid tea canister shape with vertically molded ribs. The design is beautifully painted in the rococo style of Chinese export porcelain. A nature vignette of birds, insects and flowers emerges from a densely painted all-over-pattern of quatrefoils. Traditional blue painting atop luminous blanc de chine porcelain. Covered with a simple disc top.
